Not only the current supply chain problems show the importance of digitalisation for international trade and investment, thus pushing governments and companies to a digitized economy, government and finance sector. Since no country is unaffected, we want to address these complex developments at the 1st Africa Trade & Invest and we are honoured to announce that the following African ministers have already confirmed their attendance so far: -    Hon. Kassahun Gofe, State Minister, Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration of Ethiopia -    Hon. Mark Katsonga Phiri, Minister of Trade and Industry of Malawi  -    Hon. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Morocco -    Hon. Alkache Alhada, Minister of Commerce of Niger

Their participation envisaged have the ministers of Equatorial Guinea, Malawi, Mauritius and Tanzania. Isn’t it fascinating that the most ground-breaking innovations are currently being created on the African continent? The Alphabet project is already using laser tech to beam terrabytes over several kilometres in Central Africa. The 2Africa initiative is laying the most extensive fibre-optic submarine cables network around the African continent. These are just two examples that foster entrepreneurial innovation, regional economic growth, increase productivity and have a positive impact on the African labour market.
